CPL (A) Program
Obtaining of the CPL (A) Commercial Pilot Licence Aeroplane is a breakthrough moment in every pilot’s career. Until then, you are only allowed to fly recreationally, without receiving any remuneration. Once you receive a commercial pilot licence, you can finally start working in your long-awaited dream profession.
In accordance with the program that has been approved by the President of The Civil Aviation Office (CAO), the applicants for the IR(A) training at our school must hold a valid PPL(A) licence along with the Night VFR rating, have a total flight time of 150 hours (including 20 hours of cross country flight time as pilot in command - PIC), hold the proper class medical examination and have finished the theoretical CPL(A) or ATPL(A) training.
In accordance with the European standards and regulations, as expressed in the Joint Aviation Requirements JAR-FCL 1, a CPL(A) STANDARD training covers 25 hours of flight with an instructor, of which 5 hours in a complex type of aircraft (variable pitch propeller, retractable landing gear, certified to carry at least 4 people). In the case of our school, it is a TECNAM P2006T aircraft, while the 20 hours are flown on a the CESSNA 150/152 type of aircraft.
