B 737 NG / A 320 Type Rating
Type Rating is one of the last qualifications a pilot can obtain, but, at the same time, it is the most important one. In fact, it opens the door to the career of an airline pilot. In times of strong competition in the aviation industry, pilots who have obtained the TR have greater chances of getting their dream job.
The majority of the European airlines use mainly 2 types of aircraft: Boeing 737 NG and Airbus A320.
Owing to the close cooperation between Ventum Air and AIR-CAMPUS from France, the training is also accessible to the FTO VENTUM AIR students. The training is conducted on the most advanced Full Motion simulators, which are now available in Europe.
The applicants for the TR training must hold an ATPL(A) Frozen, a valid CPL(A) licence, including IR(A) and MEP(L) qualifications and have passed the proper class medical examination.
The training program consists of:
- 92 hours of theoretical training (737-800 NG / A 320 Systems course, Performance, Safety and CRM courses, Mock-Up, Jet Familiarization course, MCC course, Simulator Briefings and Flight Briefings) based on lectures and CBT (Computer Based Training)
- 20 hours of practical MCC training on the FTD (Flight Training Device) simulator - 24 hours of practical training on the FBS (Fix Based Simulator)
- 36 hours of practical training on the FSS (Full Flight Simulator) with the final exam
- 6 aerodrome traffic circuits conducted on the chosen type of the aeroplane - Base Training
